I think WhatsApp as a communication channel is a good idea
Would prefer that Lebara concentrate on their “Bolt On” offerings for use outside EU rather than go down the eSIM route. E-Sims are fine but a lot of faffing about, and rarely include calls or texts. The Lebara bolt on packages that I bought for the US offered a seamless experience.

Whilst having several members of the family on one provider is great and a family offering could be very beneficial we also make sure that we have another provider using a different carrier as they do have different coverage. This means we've got greater chance if getting a signal in an emergency than if we're all on one carrier. So if you change your carrier then we might have to look at whether we can stay.

Martin I only joined the Community this morning and already I’ve learned two things. (A) That I’m not alone in having rubbish coverage/signal with Lebara in the UK; (B) Alternatives are available that are as cheap as Lebara but with better signal. Any comments?

eSim Support for phones
We have been seeing esim support on the roadmap since couple of years in FAQ. I think 2026 is the time.
I would also like to see some options for multi memeber family plans.

Martin Here's my view on how plans are described on the website. Click on a plan and it opens up with the details of that plan, it then lists features of that plan including data allowance. However if you scroll down further there is an expandable section titled "Here are the countries included in your plan". So at a glance, that means the entire plan including data allowance, so if I travel to the USA, I have my data allowance because that country is included in my plan right !... wrong, it only includes 100 call minutes from the UK for that country I believe.
My suggestion is to make that clearer on your site for customers, break it out as to what countries have data included and what do not, what 50 countries have a call allowance etc.

Please go for the IoT/ Apple Watch esims. We’re tied to ee because of my wife’s watch and then they do unlimited data for everyone else as we have their broadband.
if we could get the watch eSIM the whole family would move to lebara instead of just grandma!

It’s overdue that we still can’t use an eSIM with Lebara. Other networks provide esim, why not Lebara?
