I have an esim on my iPhone 16 and the WiFi calling keeps switching itself off. If switch it on and the go back later it's off again. We have zero mobile signal at home so it's vital this works. I'll have to switch to another provider if I can’t resolve the issue.

Same issue for me on iPhone 14 Pro iOS 26.4 eSim. Seems to be an issue with eSims as we have another iPhone here with a traditional Sim and all is fine.

Update. After a few days I did get wifi calling to stay on - after repeated chats with the online team. They told me it was being raised to the technical support team. I never received anything from lebara to say it was enabled. It stayed on for a few days and after the update to iOS 26.4.1 on reboot I got an immediate message saying wifi calling not enabled. I was able to turn it back on, but it has turned itself off again. There is clearly an issue with wifi calling on eSIMs as there are no issues with a physical sim on an iPhone 14 in the same household.

Tech support tried to resolve this for me but couldn’t. In the end I did a “reverse migration” onto a physical SIM and now wifi calling works perfectly. So I think the only solution if you need wifi calling is to go back to physical sim, unfortunately. Hopefully Lebara will solve this soon, as more and more phones are going eSIM-only.
