Very unhappy

I have just opened a new account for SIM only. I was led to understand that I could transfer my old phone number, but when I entered the PAC code, it had expired. I called customer services and was informed that I can't transfer my number for 7 months! Has anyone else had this problem. If so, did you manage to get it resolved? Many thanks

Pac code is given by previous provider is by law. Just request a new one and do port.

To get a PAC code and keep your mobile number in the UK, simply text "PAC" to 65075 from your current phone (it is free). You will receive a 9-digit code via SMS within 60 seconds, which is valid for 30 days.

Hi. Thanks for your reply. I did that, but it didn't work. I called customer services and spoke to a very unhelpful person, who didn't speak very good English... maybe I'll just switch to the new number...
