4g or 5g

I recently went up to paying for 5g as I read the amounts of the totals the wrong way around, any one else did that?

Didn't know there was a distinction?

Wasn't everyone on 5G plans? as long as their phone supported it? sometimes they do have to reset it at their end if your phone supports it but does switch to it in supported areas.

I used to be on 4g, but I still get 4g in some areas and 5 g in other places now

Yea, had similar experience when they first started giving 5G, when I was going near 5G areas I had only 4G and had to talk to customer support to reset it, I'm sure now if you have a 5G supported handset will just work wherever there is 5G signal.
