Help with roaming add on.

Hi. In Vietnam. Trying to use my labara sim for going into China, I bought a £15 roaming add on, but can’t get anything to work, no calls, no data and no texts. I’ve tried everything advised to me, change mobile data settings. Nothing. I am NOT phone savvy, so really could do with some help. Thanks
