With two mobile phone plans already, I only want my third SIM for emergency purposes only.
It is not documented how long a £5 top up lasts. On the You Don't Have A Plan web page, there are two tags 1) 30-Day Plan and 2) 12-Month Plan.
These tags imply that a £5 top up only last 30 days even if you haven't made any calls and are still in credit.
The alternative is to pay £5 a month and never use the SIM unless an emergency occurs which is also a poor option.
There needs to be a better third option like rolling over the 30-Day Plan if still in credit!
