I am going to be travelling to Cyprus this year and checked roaming settings to see it’s covered, which it said it is, however, my missus said it doesn’t cover North Cyprus where we are going, had she not told me, I would have had no idea and it would have cost me a fortune through no fault of mine! Until she told me I had no idea there was a Turkish and Greek side and that the Turkish side is classed as its own unrecognised country!
Surely, Lebara should put a caveat stating roaming is like from home however, some parts may not be covered. People could unfairly get caught out and scammed for hundreds. if it says a country, then it should be the country. If you look at a map of Cyprus, it just says that, it doesn’t stipulate half is slightly different.
