Mobile phone refund

Hi there!
i wanted to take a phone out on contract yesterday, so i payed the £50 for the iphone 17 pro max and applied for finance.
The money was taken out of my account and i then got a notification saying i am not eligible for the newpay finance.
I would just like to find out if i will be getting the £50 refunded for a mobile that i do not have?
