    Hi,
The only grip I have is if I need to use a free phone number from abroad, eg 0800… I can not call from abroad.. Sometimes I need access to these numbers when traveling in Europe..

Yes.. I needed to ring +44800 and 0333 (+44). I called the Lebara help centre and was told when i am abroad in Spain 0800 numbers are treated like premium numbers 🤷🏻‍♂️

Looking it this further it looks like most networks work like this as the person you are calling on 0800 pays for call so they block calls from outside UK.
Same with o2 and other providers.

My wife is on 02 and her phone works fine from abroad to fee phone numbers … Maybe your network has a different policy..

Spencer All companies that I can think of that use a freephone 0800 number in the UK also have a normal geographic number [for example Barclays Bank have 0800 151 0900 for calls from the UK or +44 1604 269 900 if call from abroad, so a UK geographic number of 01604-269 900] For the companies you wish to call from abroad just use their geographic number and then it will just come off your normal roaming balance. If you don't have a geographic number for the UK company concerned just email them [or call them when in the UK] and ask them for their 'normal' land-line number, as all companies will have a normal geogrpahic number as well as an 0800.
