I’m not using my SIM as I’m abroad, but want to keep my number

I got a message saying I’m going to lose my number since there’s been nearly 90 days of inactivity. However, I was paid up for one of those 30 days on the £5 a month plan, so shouldn’t it be 365 days from the end of the plan?? Please help
