I get two or three calls a day , everyday, from spoofed UK mobile phone numbers. Pretty sure they're originating from China based on the message they leave - and it all started after I stupidly bought something off AliExpress and gave my mobile number. I registered with the TPS - complete waste of time. I have to set my phone to not ring for any calls that are not in my contacts - which is actually pretty inconvenient. Surely the network providers can do something about this. I could change my number - but I've had it for so long it would be very inconvenient - and with 2FA it's actually a bit risky to let someone else have my number.
