The Pay-Monthly (£4.50/mo as 12-mo contract) and Roam-like-Home is great for Europe etc, but on visiting Caribbean I had to put in £10 to make a PAYG call at the airport. OK.
For months that residual £6.79 has sat as PAYG Credit and taunted me, but I was reluctant to disable the auto-TopUp (in case I lost my moby no.)
- so I called helpdesk.
Short answer is I have to decline the auto-TopUp [as they couldn't act before or I would have 2 contracts running simultaneously].
When then out-of-contract I could recontact helpdesk, and they could then transfer that balance and restart me as Pay-Monthly. What a RPIA !
May I suggest that Lebara default should be to use any residual credit first, and then pull any shortfall (e.g. £2.21 on 2nd month in my case)
- or at least give customer some leverage in the process.
TIA
