App v website

Why oh why when I log into the app and it then links out to a website do I need to log in again?
I use biometrics for the app and have no idea what my password is for the website, my saved one doesn't work.
Having already got into a secure app surely website access should then be seamless

It is pretty clunky in that respect. The Advent Calendar promotion seems to go round in circles before landing on the actual calendar via a login prompt

You actually get there? After login, my redirect page stays stuck forever, then the redirect alert disappears and I remain stuck.
This happened with some prize draw promo they did a few weeks ago to me too - the rewards platform is a mess. I guess you have to really try for these rewards…

Ive been unable to use any offers that come through on email as a result
Yours isn't the only site that does it and ive has problems in the past where I tell the website I don't know the password and end up locked out of the app
