Unable to call UK from India

We swapped to Lebara, from 02, specifically so we could call the UK from India. First time we've try, and it doesn't work! Any advice? Customer services not available until Monday!

Sorry to hear that you had difficulties calling the UK from India CazandSam. Can you give us a bit more detail on what actually happens when you try to make the call?

As above! I'm trying to call the UK, from India. The call won't connect. I just get an Indian person, saying something in Indian. I am trying to call a UK mobile number. I can connect to this number by other means. I swapped to Lebara because I was told i could call the UK.

I don't understand what more to give!

Thanks for the extra info CazandSam, First thing to check is to make sure that you're entering the country code before the UK number. Dial +44 then the UK number without the zero. Give that a go and let me know how yo get on.

Can I ask, is this Lebara customer support? No disrespect, but i know how to make a call!

Thanks for the clarification! I'm very disappointed so far with Lebara. We swapped providers as we were advised we could use our included UK minutes to call the UK from India. Well, we can't! Customer service is next to useless too. I've been on live chat with 3 different people, I've done the EXACT same things they've advised, 3 times and it's still not fixed! 3 times I've told them the calls will not connect and that I get a voice, speaking in an indian language, and, 3 times I'm asked what the voice says!! To say I'm angry is an understatement!
