Lebara SIM not tested to work in a router

After a long chat with Lebara as to why my router will not connect to the internet using Lebara APN but does work with Vodaphone APNs I was told that the sim is only towork in a phone and has not been tested in a router.
I will have to wait until I get to EU to test it for myself unless anyone else has had the same problem??
