Yesterday I went to Paris for the day. I knew roaming to EU with Lebara was free, had checked, so was expecting this to be smooth sailing.
in the end, was hardly able to connect to French network. Maps and WhatsApp was unusable. I had to buy a physical map to get around Paris. It was absolutely terrible and extremely frustrating. I was with Sky mobile until 2 months ago and roaming always worked with no issues - although it cost £2 a day. My first experience with roaming with Lebara and it was frankly concerning. On top of that, I have noticed that where I previously had signal with Sky, I no longer do with Lebara - examples are - in the gym in the ground floor of my building, on the tube or dlr. I routinely now do not have signal. I am very dissatisfied with this.
