Port in old number

    I’m new to Lebara. Ported over my old number. Due to complete on 30th December but no service since then (2 days). Made contact with help desk only to be told twice it’s in process and will be sorted by midnight on 30th and then 31st December. Anyone else had any issues?

    Yes because Thursday was bank holiday there is delay. Be monday 5th onwards ports will start i think

      Yes I’m having the same problem was due to port on 2nd Jan but not happed yet. Seems likely that the answer about delay due to Bank holiday is right but you’d think it would all be automated and would happen anyway

        I believe human intervention is required thats why its Monday to Friday only in case things go wrong.

          You were correct it ported in at around 6pm on the 5th Jan. I don’t know why they give you the option of days to schedule your port that they know aren’t achievable. It’s easy enough for them to block weekends and bank holidays on the calendar you choose from. It would save them fielding calls/ messages from people expecting porting to happen.
          Thank you for answering, so I knew what to expect.
