There are multiple areas around Farnham and Grayshott areas of Surrey where a phone shows connection to 4G signal but there is no data, no internet. This signal may be from 1 to 4 bars, but clearly something is wrong. This is not limited to my sim, my iPhone or possibly Lebara but potentially Vodafone. This same thing happens with my partner who is on a Vodafone sim. This is getting so bad that I'm thinking of moving back to EE since I have a secondary test sim and find that when I swap to EE in those same locations, the signal works and I get data services.
I have even been in the Vodafone shop in Farnham who says they are aware of an issue but Vodafone does nothing about it. Can't Lebara try and do something about this?
Does anyone else have this problem?

Hi Stevie, thanks for your post and welcome to the community!

As Lebara uses the Vodafone network it makes sense that both you and your partner are seeing the same results. Have you checked the network coverage in the affected area yet? If you click here and enter your postcode it will give you the expected coverage, including what level of data coverage you should be getting. Give it a go and share the results here.

Yes these areas I'm referring to have service. This includes the east side of central Farnham! Looking at the Vodafone service map, the entire town is in green for 4G, 5G is patchy.
If our phones indicate several bars of 4G service, you would expect to have data/internet, which we don't. If there is no data then you wouldn't expect to see 4G showing on your phone.

Thanks for the reply Stevie, so just to clarify your phones are showing that you have 4G signal but data is not working? What happens when you try to load a webpage or open a connected app?

Martin Hi yes correct. the web page times out and never displays. Any app that uses data also fails.

              Hi Martin,
Attached is an example from today, just a typical 4G connection according to my phone, but yet no apps or anything loads. This was located just north of the main train station in Farnham around the junction with the A31.
I find it amazing that the staff at the Vodafone shop have raised this issue in the area, but yet a year later still no progress.
