Hi. I left Vodafone after more than 20 years due to their constant price rises making them quite expensive.
I really needed to keep my number though so requested to port my old number over.
My old number git disconnected before 8am this morning and over 4 hours later my Lebara SIM is still showing my temporary Lebara number.
My Vodafone number doesn't work on either SIM and I know I'll worry until it finally goes over.
    Is this normal?
If I do run into any problems whar are Lebaras customer services like?
I'll be saving around £23 a month compared to Vodafone and getting more data but it just seems too good of a deal so I can't help but worry.
    Thanks.

When did you ask for your PAC code, and when did you do the portin? As far as I’m aware, you get 30 days grace from your previous provider, just in case it’s not really worth you changing. Vodafone should have left your old number viable until it was confirmed it is now with Lebara, within that 30 day period. All the best

Thankfully my old number transferred about an hour ago so about 6 hours after it was disconnected from Vodafone.
Just me worrying for nothing 🤦
Hopefully I'll never have to port my number to another network again 🤞
      Thank you for your help.

👍 Portin is (usually) easy and really straightforward with no issues. Done it plenty of times over the years. But I had a problem with going from O2 (17 years I was with them) to Lebara in February. Took 10 days to get it working. Ball ache. All the best

Cheryl009 how do you find the Lebara signal compared to Vodafone signal as they piggyback the Vodafone network?

Noticed no difference in signal whatsoever! Really glad I swapped.
Now I'm saving £22 a month and getting 10GB extra data plus EU roaming.
Should have done it a long time ago.

Cheryl009 Thanks for the reply, that’s great about the signal as I am moving from Vodafone as well, fingers crossed it’s the same for me when my sim arrives

                Hi @Cheryl009,

Thank you for the reassurance - I am going through the exact same issue. Did you have to restart the phone where the Labara SIM card was installed for the old Vodafone number to "catch up"?

I restarted my phone a few times and hit flight mode on and off. It didn't work for me though, probably because the process hadn't completed at that point. When it did eventually transfer it did so without me restarting the phone.
Easy to say I know but try not to worry too much. It does take a little longer than I was expecting but once it's done it's done.
Hopefully won't be too much longer for you 🤞

Hi all, I’m having the same issue. Have left o2 after 20 years and this morning they’ve disconnected my service and Lebara is not yet active on my ported number. Any additional steps I can take?
