    Can’t understand why my 10gb of data purchased each month is draining so quickly. With my previous network l had 8gb of data per month for the same price & had data left over every month. Something not right with this network. Thinking about leaving Lebara & going back to my original network. Very unhappy customer.

    I am experiencing this too. I had to add a top up of 5gb and in less than two days it was gone. 5gb would last me a month on my pre ious provider. I’m very rarely off WiFi either so no idea where it’s all going

      Jungle Juice. Thank you for posting. I’m definitely leaving when the extra data purchased expires as there’s no reason why the data should be draining so quickly. I too am rarely off WiFi which makes this issue even more peculiar. Hope others do the same. Definitely not getting value for money if we have to ‘add on’ each month.

        I don't know why it is is only happening on Lebara and not your previous network operator but have you got Wi-Fi Calling turned off on your phones?
        If it is turned off and some apps are phoning home all the time in the background they can use data. Have you tried rebooting the phone?

          It’s weird I am on the Wi-fi most of the time and I have used 4GB in 5 days, I really used 3GB in a month before I switched

            I was told I would receive a call from lebara within 24 hours to discuss this (over 24 hours ago) and have had nothing. It’s a shame as it’s so affordable and have heard really positive things but I am nervous to touch my phone or use the internet on it as it seems to be draining my data and I’d rather just pay more tbh

              I called customer services earlier and explained about the rapid data usage, I told them to check my data usage and said it uses up 600 to 700 mb in one go, that cannot be right, they said it’s about what you are looking at, I assured them that my surfing is normal no downloading or anything, I have not used even 5GB in any month with my old provider and have used 4GB in 5 days

                I am surprised how little data I use on Lebara.
                have certain apps blocked from mobile data and force them to update over WiFi.

                  LoLocar, Junglejuice, Stroller1961 do you know what exactly is using the data? Most phone's have log you can check to see which apps used how much data, it's worth checking to see if you can determine where the unwanted usage is coming from.

                    I am facing the same issue 10 gb data gone in a day whereas I’m most of the time connected to WiFi. My average daily spend on mobile data is not more than 200mb . This is ridiculous. Will raise it with the support team if no solution will port to another company

                        Yes I am experiencing the same issue, my 10gb plan got drained within 5 or less days. The customer support was kind enough to add 5gb allowance as a good will, but that drained within a day at midnight. Not sure what's going on, I'm most of the time on WiFi only data while using Google maps while driving and maybe YouTube music, WhatsApp message etc. All my software updates are set to download on WiFi only.
                        Seriously considering moving to another network. It's never happened to me before I hardly use 1 or 2gb max mobile data each month.
