Continuous calls from ?SCAMMERS claiming to call from Vodafone (sim upgrade)

    I’ve been receiving continuous calls from Vodafone team, mentioning that Lebara has been taken over by the Vodafone and if I need to keep using my number, I need to disclose some information and an OTP, They are going to send me a new SIM card to my home address in 24 hours, otherwise my sim card would be disconnected. I mentioned I never received any information from Lebara by email or phone or even text message and I asked how I can believe them and they got angry and disconnected the phone saying you don’t have to do it if you don’t want.
    Few days back I had eight missed calls from them. The last day I had two calls from them and I attended and since the matter didn’t seem serious and I was at work I said that I am busy and today they had called twice before I attended and enquired in detail.
    I, thankfully, didn’t disclose any of my information or any OTP or anything instead, I logged into Lebara and make sure that there is no alert or notification I missed.
    Did anyone else have similar experience and how can we prevent the continuous spam calls??
