    Hi everyone,

With summer and holiday season fast approaching, we've put together a quick guide to roaming with Lebara so you can stay connected while away from home.

Lebara's "Roam Like Home" lets customers use their UK plan allowances (minutes, texts, and data) at no extra cost in the EU and India, up to 30GB. It covers 36+ EU and EEA countries, plus India. To check if your destination is included in Roam Like Home use our roaming rates finder.

If you're travelling outside our Roam Like Home destinations, don't worry, we have you covered! Lebara offers roaming add-ons from just £5 to help you stay connected. We recommend buying a plan or add-on before you travel to avoid interruptions to your service.

Please note: Your plan or add-on will be active from the date of purchase, so bear in mind the expiration date and time your activation accordingly. For example, if you are travelling for seven days and your add-on expires after eight days, you should activate it in the UK a few hours before you travel. Alternatively, you can purchase an additional plan or add-on while travelling.

If you’re travelling abroad soon, here are a few quick tips to stay connected and avoid unexpected roaming charges:

    Check your roaming plan
Before you travel, see what’s included for your destination, such as data, calls, and texts.

    Use Wi‑Fi where you can
Hotel, airport, and café Wi‑Fi can help you save mobile data.

    Download content in advance
Offline maps, playlists, and downloads can help you save data.

    Watch data-heavy apps
Streaming, updates, and cloud backups can use a lot of data abroad.

    Bring a portable charger
Maps, photos, and roaming services can drain your battery faster than usual.

    Turn on data alerts
Most phones let you set limits or alerts to track usage abroad.

    Save important numbers
Keep key travel, accommodation, and support contacts available offline.
