cancelling old contract

Hi....do you cancel my old contract when moving to Lebara after providing PAC number and do i need to cancel my DD with old provider?

More than likely you’ve payed up front with your previous provider for the billing cycle you are in. When it comes to the next billing cycle,if you are owed a refund ie you moved at a certain point,you will receive that (any monies you’ve payed in advance,and not used the tariff and are no longer with that provider) on your usual billing date. They owe you. You don’t do anything with the DD with your previous provider,a DD just instructs the bank to hand over any money to your provider at the agreed date you instructed when taking out the tariff. Since you will be no longer with them they have no business asking the bank,and they won’t. They’ll just refund you anything owed to you and that’s the end. All the best
