Anyone experienced problems with the bolt on plan for roaming in Australia? A few years ago this worked without any problems but my last couple of trips have been a disaster leaving me with no service, unable to make calls, receive. verification codes etc. Customer Service did try to resolve the issue without success & gave a full refund but I need a service that works & not be stranded on arrival. What’s the solution, if any? I’m using an iPhone 13 at present.

Given my previous experience I opted to “test” the functionality with the basic £5 plan. I was there for a month & have purchased the £15 plan in the past. There was no service from any of the network providers from Day1 & this has been my experience regardless of the plan which should not be a factor.

The £5 plan doesn't include calls to make or receive.
Did you get any reception.

Did you manually try to connect to network. Was your network selection set to auto on your phone.

Both auto & manual connection to network tried. Customer Service provided full support in set up etc.with no success, citing “issues with providers”. I am only trying to establish if anyone else has experienced such problems before my next trip. Thanks for your input.

If your traveling and your phone has esim support.
Travelers use EsimDB a lot if you want to try alternatives while on the move for a day to check its not your phone etc.
