I have ported a number to a new SIM card but the number hasn’t ported, but has ceased on my old SIM card.
why would this happen. It’s been over 24 hours

I think they’re having issues with porting.
For me, iMessage and FaceTime show previous number, yet I can call and text to/from my ported number.

My phone, and the data settings too, show the old number.

I’ve called Lebara 6 times. All they say is turn it off and on again.

So I had them send me a replacement SIM card. Still not working.

Now I think I need to leave Lebara to get this sorted.

Lebara say it’s a device problem, even though my son’s phone has the exact same issue.

I have faced the same issue with Lebara, I have used them many times in the past, but seems since they are now going to their own network and only using Vodafone masts for signal, their porting process seems to be in a shambles since they do it themselves now, and no longer handeled by Vodafone.

I have a premium number which I cannot afford to lose, which has been saying it "does not exist" since porting on 30th June, I have now taken out another sim with SKY - requested a PAC from Lebara, and in the process of porting the number out as I can only made outbound calls. It looks like they are not updating routing once they complete the porting.

Sky port is now in limbo too, as they told me they had to contact Lebara to get them to fix the mess before they can try move my number over again hopefully on Monday, sad you have to get a third network involved to resolve it as I kept getting fobbed off my Lebara Customer Services - wait another 24 hours etc.

Will keep you posted if this has worked, might be worth while porting out to another network if it does resolve / force them to fix the issue

I got mine fixed. I called them and they had entered the temporary sim number instead of the ported no. Thankfully they hadn’t released the number we were porting. Sorted but 15hours after they had originally said. Not a good start.
