eSIM and 5G

Since having eSIM, I never get 5G on my phone and have LTE, which I don’t understand. Also, paid for roaming but just can’t get 5G. My wife has same network but with actual sim and has 5G. Any advice will be greatly appreciated

I have the same problem with an iPhone 16 despite having the same contract and same data settings as my wife, who does receive 5G on her iPhone 15. Apple have checked the phone and there’s nothing wrong with it. Lebara have been completely useless over the phone. Has anyone else had the same problem? I simply never connect to 5G!

My Phone regularly says its not registered on a network too. This is an intermittent fault. I try going into airplane mode.. then turned on and off... no idea whats up. Have you any any solutions?
