No Internet connection when not using WiFi

I’m frustrated that if I’m in a shop I cannot access the Internet unless they have their own wifi. Why can’t I access 4G?

Does this only happen in one location DeborahN2 or do you have no data connection at all?

Martin it seems whenever I’m away from home. I don’t get many calls on my mobile but do want to check out at supermarkets using my app on my iPhone. I’m simply confused as to why I don’t get a 4g or 5g signal if I’m out of my own WiFi range!
