Got a call from lebara customer service saying that lebara is merging with vodaphone. Asked from details like email. Gave them wrong email but able to say that it was not matching.

But later asked for my card details with cvv to add them from back end which was suspicious. But later gave them card details no money.

Then asked 50 pounds to hold (won’t be debited) they said. But got it got debited. Asked for new card but denied.

here the number they have called from.

    +44 7368 502421

Most likely scam but thankfully my bank blocked the amount.

Mohantalachutla this sounds like a scam to me. While Lebara use the Vodafone network they are not merging and would never call a customer to request details such as your email or card information. Thanks for sharing this with the community and in future it's always best to call a company back on the number on their website to confirm any information given when contacted out of the blue.

Thanks Martin for confirming. I didn’t why I trusted them. I feel stupid. But anyway, it was a great lesson.

Thanks for the additional detail Mohantalachutla. I'll make sure to pass this one up the chain.
