Long story short, I lost my phone at the weekend and can't access my emails either 🫣 trying to get a new SIM sent out has been utterly painful...my first one requested on Sunday still hasn't arrived. The call centre have just told me they're sending a new one today because they can't verify it was ever sent 😑 I want to get the PAC code for my number over the phone or to an alternative email/number so I can change provider. Want to know how easy that is to do before I call up and try lodging a complaint.

If you reach out to customer support again JamieB8, they should be able to provide you with a PAC code without you needing to access your SIM.

Cheers Martin , much obliged! I called them and they're looking into the second missing SIM but said they'd call me back in 30 mins....they still denied they could provide me the PAC code without texting it to the SIM that I have lost though!

After 1 hour and 30 mins battle I was told they would need to obtain authority to send the PAC to my alternative email address (they deleted the old email off when I first contacted them to say I was locked out). I'm dubious if I will ever get this email but they said they would contact me with another option if not possible (again dubious of this but the lady was very helpful). Just felt like they wanted me off the phone to not ruin their KPIs.

Just giving the final update on my progress in the event anyone else has any similar pain.
Customer service has been utterly useless, had to raise a complaint in order to have them send me out a new unregistered SIM after 5 days of asking them to do so and being told it has been sent. Was told under no circumstances would they send me a PAC code to my email because apparently they have given them out incorrectly in the past. Not my issue they can't control security checks!
When the SIM finally arrived a full 7 days after the original request being raised, I called up to have it registered and was told it would take up to 24 hours to take effect (why it wasn't sent pre-activated I have no idea). Had to call up the next day after the SIM didn't activate within the time frame to be told they had sent me a bad SIM and that they would send me another SIM out 😂. I was of course incensed and asked for this to be escalated again. Luckily for Lebara the SIM magically activated during the wait and I was able to request the PAC code and transfer my number myself.

To add to this I have also not been contacted by the complaints team at all. Check ing my voicemail it transpired the complaints team were calling my lost number not the alternative contact details I provided! How they expected me to answer that call I have no idea, though unsure whether it was just incompetence or was done deliberately to avoid me.
Either way, my sum up is if you lose your SIM with Lebara get a hold of a new SIM from a bricks and mortar shop and have them activate it over the phone or through the website if you have access. Do not try and use the Lebara contact centre unless you want to experience the worst customer service imaginable.
