My port to Lebara was scheduled for 3rd September. TalkMobile closed my account around 9am (lost access to their app) but I still had voice/SMS service.
By early evening, my Lebara app was still showing the temp number and nothing had changed so contacted Lebara chat to report a problem. Was told TalkMobile didn't send some file, so they asked me to wait 24 hours and backend it will sort it.
On Friday 4th September, around midday, I lost all service on my TalkMobile sim. My lebara app updated to show my ported number. By 4pm, I got a text/email from Lebara saying my port is complete and to ensure the SIM is in my phone. However, I didn't have any service so I report to Lebara chat.
On Saturday and Sunday, I was told to wait until midnight or 24 hours - but when pressed, they said the specialist team doesn't work weekends - so why on earth make waste my time by telling me to chase them up on the weekend?
Still no service for 4 days. Every time I use Lebara chat, they say they can see the "port is complete" and waste time making me do a manual network search, or remove the SIM and restart the phone, despite me telling them it's already been escalated to the specialist team.
I need my number for managing school/work and accessing financial services like one time passcodes. I have tried all the suggestions from Lebara and I also tried to sim in a separate iPhone. When I call my number is just says "This person's phone is switched off".
I've raised a complaint but Lebara haven't given me the reference number. In this situation - what else can I do or ask Lebara?
