Changing to old phone number and deleting the new

When I got my Lebara sim, I changed it to my old phone number successfully, but some of my contacts can't text me on this number and still get notifications from the temporary number which came with the sim. How can I delete it so all calls and texts go to my original number? Thanks

It could be a couple of things MariaB28. First try updating your number in your phone settings.

On iPhone

• Open Settings on your device.

• Tap Phone, then select My Number.

• Enter your new number and tap Save.

• Update iMessage and FaceTime by toggling them off and back on in their respective settings menus if the number does not refresh automatically. [1]

On Android

• Open Settings, then go to Google.

• Tap Manage your Google Account and select Personal info.

• Scroll to Phone, tap your number, and choose Edit or Delete to add your new number.

If doing that fails to fix the issue it could be a problem with the porting in of the number so contact customer support for help.
