Switching from iPhone to android esim

I want to switch from my iPhone to a Google pixel I currently have an eSIM in my phone and it’s my understanding that android can’t do eSIM. So would it mean

A large number of Android devices are supported for eSIM RichardH44 so as long as the android you're switching to is supported then you can continue to use your eSIM but please check compatibility before you move your eSIM over.
