It believe Lebara is accounting our data usage wrong.
I have been using data for 30 years on various networks - and I know my usual amount of use.
Recently data is running out fast on Lebara and I don't believe it is correct.
Data should just be data. Nothing has changed - no new apps, the phone itself is not reporting high usage or unusual usage (android can tell you).
Now two members of my family also on Lebara are running out of data rapidly - again doing nothing different or unusual.
Our phones are indoors for most of the day - and therefore on wifi. Data spikes at night should not happen!
I did an internet search and was surprised to find many others have this issue - reported here and elsewhere eg reddit.
The only explanation that is reasonable is that Lebara is accounting and billing us incorrectly.
Now - I know the Lebara rep will reply to say "have you checked this setting" and "please contact customer support" - but this is a widespread issue, even if they deny it.
I may go back to EE or Vodafone if this is not acknowledged at a system level. And i may get in touch with the ombudsman if I feel Lebara is trying to fob off customers individually by sucking them into a customer support bureaucratic Kafka-esque black hole.
