Text that requires an extra cost

I tried to enter a radio competition that requires sending a text that has a charge but it just says not sent, I would expext this charge to be added to my monthly plan as a additional cost as other plans I have had in the past, but it seems this plan will not let me send it

I had the same issue. You will need to add credit (plain top up - either from the website or the app). The credit can also be used to call international numbers and doesn't expire till the time you keep using your sim. Trust that helps.

Lebara is a prepaid network.
You have to top up credit in order to do anything chargeable.
This has benefits, eg there is no chance of bill shock. But also means you have to top up round amounts.

tomtom Thanks, I have now put credit in to my account and have been able to enter. I still think it could be made more easier, I did see the top up but didn't realise it was for that reason.
