How to call Dubai without interruptions

Hi. I have a UK Lebara plan. At this moment I have Auto Top Up enabled. a credit of £9.87 and 100 left of 100 min international calls. Yet a call I received from a friend in Dubai was cut off because my plan ran out of something.
What must I do to place calls to and receive calls from Dubai freely?

If your in UK should not be cut you off as you dont pay to receive calls unless your roaming it maybe your friend who was cut off.

Superuser25 She says when she tried to call me back it went straight to voice mail. | tried calling her back and got a message from Lebara saying something like "This call will be charged at a rate of xxx. Do you want to place the call?" I didn't why I was cut off in the first place, or why Lebara was telling me the rate when I had alrady been having a conversation.

Dubai is not free to call so you would be charged.
Not sure why she can't call you though.
