Hello Lebara users. My mum and I have a problem and I am hoping someone here can help us.
I bought a Lebara SIM last year, it arrived very quickly in the post and I have been using it happily ever since. So when my 83 year old mum wanted to change network provider this year, I naturally suggested Lebara.
On the 26th January she bought the first Lebara SIM and the website confirmation said it would be posted first class Royal Mail. It never arrived. We asked Moy at the call centre what had happened and he said Lebara had been sent a batch of SIM cards with no phone numbers so they were unable to send them out. You would think Lebara would at least contact the intended recipients by email to let them know the problem. The call centre told my mum they would refund her then she needed to order a new SIM.
On 29th January my mum bought a second Lebara SIM and the website confirmation said it would be posted first class Royal Mail. It never arrived. Mum web chatted with Marcus who said, "I have check your order. and its active. however i does not generate a number to sent a replacement. however i will cancel this order and help you refund. kindly re order a new sim from your ends.”.
On 6th February my mum bought a third Lebara SIM and the website confirmation said it would be posted first class Royal Mail. It never arrived.
I have three questions for you:
1. Has anyone else found it this hard getting a Lebara SIM?
2. Does anyone know why it is happening?
3. Can anyone suggest a solution?
As mentioned earlier, from personal experience, I know Lebara can get it right but they have got it wrong three times in a row for my mum.
Thank you in advance for any advice you can give.
