    How does my old mobile account get closed now that I have moved to Labara?

    If you use the PAC code to transfer number it will close account and generate final bill from previous provider.

    If you did not use PAC code and didn't transfer number and don't mind losing old number then need to contact old provider.

        Ann1411 Good luck with this. Lebara is costing me a fortune in not sorting transfer. Every day I'm receiving a worthless call to another from Lebara, making excuses and time wasting, saying it's been elevated. I've never encountered syuch incompetence. Particularly, as this this has been on-going for 3 weeks nearly, without a number, having spent thousands on print recently with the number they haven't transferred in.

          Step 1: Get your PAC Code
          From your current (old) network's SIM card, text the word PAC to 65075.
          You will receive a text message within a minute containing your 9-digit PAC code.
          This code is valid for 30 days.
          Step 2: Activate your Lebara SIM
          You cannot port your number until you have a working Lebara SIM.
          Insert your new Lebara SIM into your phone.
          Make a quick call or send a text to ensure it is active.
          Note: You will have a temporary Lebara number assigned to this SIM. Keep this number handy, as you will need it for the next step.

          Step 3: Fill out the Port-In Form

          and enter the following details:
          Temporary Lebara Number: The one that came with your new SIM.
          Existing Number: The one you want to keep.
          PAC Code: The code you got from your old network.
          Date: You can choose the day you want the transfer to happen.
          Key Information for Porting
          Timeframe: If you submit the form before 5:00 PM on a working day, the transfer usually happens the next working day. Transfers do not typically process on weekends or Bank Holidays.
          Downtime: On the day of the port, your old SIM will lose service first. A few hours later, your Lebara SIM will pick up the signal for your original number.
          Troubleshooting: If the signal doesn't appear by the evening of your port date, restart your phone. This usually "kicks" the network into recognizing the new number.

              The porting worked fine for my phone, except that RCS messaging is still using the temporary Lebara number. I've tried disabling RCS and clearing the message cache to no avail. Anyone have a fix for this?

                    The "Power Cycle" for RCS

                    ​Before digging into settings, try the most effective "soft" reset:
                    • Turn off RCS: Go to Messages Settings > RCS Chats and toggle "Turn on RCS chats" to Off.
                    • Wait: Leave it off for at least 30 seconds.
                    • Turn it back on: Toggle it to On. You might see a "Verifying your number" prompt.

                    ​2. Clear the "Carrier Services" Cache

                    ​Sometimes the background app that manages your connection gets "sticky" data from your old carrier.
                    1. ​Go to your phone Settings > Apps > See all apps.
                    2. ​Search for Carrier Services.
                    3. ​Tap Storage & Cache > Clear Cache (and then Clear Storage/Data).
                    4. ​Repeat these steps for the Messages app itself.
                      • Note: This won't delete your conversations, but it will reset your app preferences.

                    ​3. Verify the "Connected" Number

                    ​Ensure your phone actually knows who it is now.
                    • ​Go to Messages Settings > RCS Chats.
                    • ​Look at the number listed under "Status." If it shows your temporary number (the one you had before the port completed) or "Unknown," you'll need to re-verify.

                    ​4. The "De-registration" Trick

                    ​If you are stuck in a "Verifying" loop, Google might still have your number linked to a "ghost" session.
                    • ​Go to the Google Messages de-registration web portal.
                    • ​Scroll to "Without your previous device".
                    • ​Enter your phone number to receive a 6-digit code. This "force-closes" any active RCS sessions on Google's servers, allowing you to start fresh on your phone.
