Hi everyone,
As a follow up to our recent topic on TV recommendations I thought a movie recommendations would be a good shout. Get your movie suggestions in below, it can be something recent or an old classic that you want to share.
I'll get the ball rolling...
Sinners
A great horror, music, crime movie following two brothers who, after working for the Chicago mob, set up a business and a juke joint back home until trouble shows it's hand in supernatural form. Some really great blues music in here, which is the main reason I tuned in.
The Running Man (2025)
Not a remake of the classic Arnold Schwarzenegger movie from the 87 action flick this movie is based more closely on the book of the same name. To save his child's life Ben Richards joins a deadly gameshow in which the entire country is trying to hunt him down for an entire month. This movie was great fun and I would highly recommend!
I Swear
A really great movie following the real life journey of a man growing up and living with Tourettes syndrome. Eye-opening, heart warming, and lots of really great performances. Lead Robert Aramayo recently won the BAFTA for Best Actor in a Leading Role. I initially watched this as I have a friend who works for the production company, but it is really good!
So how about you folks - what have you been watching recently?
