Hi everyone and welcome to the Lebara community!
The Lebara community is a great place for you to connect with other Lebara customers, get help and support and help us to shape the future of Lebara!
You’ll be interacting with other Lebara customers, some of who might have differing options to your (or anyone else's), so we’ve put together a few guidelines to ensure that you get the most out of your conversations with other community members.
No personal information
The Lebara community is a public community, so please ensure that you don’t post any personal information such as your full name, mobile number, account number or home address.
In addition, don’t share any personal details via direct message unless you’re speaking to the community manager.
Keep it family friendly
We want the community to be a safe place for Lebara customers to share their views and ask questions so please make sure that your posts are family friendly. This includes not using bad language, posting offensive memes or images, sharing links to adult websites or posting anything illegal.
Stay on topic
This means discussing what the original post is about and not steering the conversation in a different direction. For example, if a post is about a new mobile handset, don’t take the discussion off topic by talking about mobile data. You can always start a new topic! Keeping discussions focused helps everyone have a more enjoyable and useful experience.
Say thank you and respect each other
New members and regular contributors alike - everyone has the right to post their views, as well as ask questions, regardless of their knowledge. Please keep your posts and replies polite and friendly and whilst you're free to disagree, do so in a friendly manner.
Ask for help or let us know something is wrong
If you see anything that doesn't look right, please help us out by using the report content feature or contacting the Community Manager directly. Whether it's a topic in the wrong place off, ensive language or images, no matter how trivial it seems let us know so we can address it.
No advertising
Please don’t advertise goods or services for sale in our Online Community. Advertising includes posting links to products in unrelated threads or creating topics just to promote a specific product.
Stay safe
In addition to not sharing any personal information on the community boards make sure that you don't share any details via direct message to anyone other than the Community Manager. If you're unsure about the legitimacy of a direct message be cautious, don't share any personal information such as your phone number or account details and don't click any links or contact any provided email addresses or phone numbers. If unsure always refer to the official contact us page.
No impersonating Lebara staff
While we encourage our members to offer advice, help and support to each other this is only permitted on a peer-to-peer basis and you should never impersonate another user or a Lebara staff member when offering advice to another member. Doing so is a serious breach of our guidelines and could lead to you being permanently removed from the community.
Breaching the guidelines
As part of keeping the community a safe place, we might need to edit or remove comments or threads if the content goes against the guidelines. We’ll always try to resolve any issues through a friendly discussion however if there are continued breaches of the guidelines this could lead to further action such as being banned from using the community. All decisions by the community team are final.
Thanks for taking the time to read through our guidelines. We're happy to have you here and can't wait to see you get involved!
If you have any questions about the guidelines or suggestions for new ones, feel free to reach out to Martin, our Community Manager or make a post below.
