Hey, I’m Charmaine and I just got a sweet deal on the monthly tariff SIM only for my existing iPhone. It’s at least 4 years old but still works great so I thought, why upgrade to the latest version?
I love coffee and hanging out with my cat, tiddles. Good to be part of the community.

      Hi all,
I'm Paul and recently retired from corporate life at the age of 60. Been with Lebara since January 2024 and I moved due to the great pricing plans they offered. I currently have an iPhone 12 as I don't see the need to upgrade the version at the moment. I am on a 30gb a month data plan which is perfect for my monthly usage.
My interests include cooking, listening to music (late 70's punk, ska and reggae), getting into gardening since we had it landscaped just after the pandemic and granddad to a recently turned 2yo. Retirement in 2026 will allow me to do more with my interests, spend more family time and do more doggie daycare for my daughters who have dogs.
My only request for Lebara is the introduction of e-sims as my wife and I plan to do more trips abroad now we are both retired.

Hi all, My name is Keith, iv just joined Labara and so far its not gone smoothly....
porting my number over has resulted in problems where no one could call or text me but i could make calls and texts.
now its all sorted as i thought but now they keep saying they are going to call me and then within 30 second say they couldnt get through and try again tomorrow.
this has been going on for about 4 to 6 weeks now.

Charmaine welcome! I'm the same I don't upgrade my handset every year, I usually wait until my current handset is on the way out. You'll have to share a pic of Tiddles for us!

Thanks for the intro EdinburghPaul I'm happy to hear that you've had a good experience with Lebara so far! I can confirm that eSIMs are now available, all you need to do is give customer support a call on 5588 from your Lebara number to arrange yours.

keith1668 have you successfully ported your number over now or are you still having issues?

Welcome on board hamillg! It's great to have you with us!

Thankyou for answering Martin yes I do have full use on my number now thankyou, I got a bit annoyed about the customer service as every time I spoke to them I just got the same reply that complaints ( Which I didn`t ask to do) would contact me but every time which was about 4 time I had a text from complaints to say they would phone me but 30 second after the text I received another text to say they couldn`t contact me so it seems there is still a problem somewhere. As far as Im concerned though as long as i can make calls and receive calls and text and use internet im happy that complaints dont bother tring to call me again.
              Thankyou

                  Hello everyone 👋
My name is Sarath. I’ve been with Lebara for the past 3.5 years, and honestly… zero complaints so far (which itself deserves applause 😄). I came to the UK as a student and I’m currently working here.
One thing I’ve definitely noticed since moving to the UK:
📈 prices for literally everything have gone up — groceries, rent, coffee, you name it.
📉 one thing that hasn’t changed? Lebara’s plan prices.
Seriously, credit where it’s due. Whether it’s network coverage, customer service, or finally launching eSIM (which I was patiently waiting for 🙌), you guys are doing a great job across the board.
A little about me: I work as a data analyst, enjoy fitness, photography, and the occasional deep dive into tech and finance. Outside work, I’m always up for learning new things and having good conversations.
Looking forward to being part of the Lebara Community and reading about everyone else here your hobbies, experiences, or anything you’d like to share.
                  Cheers! 😊

Hello people, I'm Steve, I'm 65 and I have been with Lebara for the last 12 months or so and have never had an issue. I am currently using a Motorola G23 and I use my phone on a daily basis and will only replace it when it stops working or slow down enough to annoy me!

                        Hello, I'm Neil from Derbyshire.

Never been a big phone user and have only ever owned three mobile phones, the latest being a 2020 iPhone 11 Pro Max. Preferring to do all my online activity via a laptop instead. I keep my phone pretty lean and mostly use it for calls and texts....and not too many of those. I've been on a sim only 5gb Lebara deal for a couple of years now. Joined after going through a cost-cutting exercise to reduce to my monthly outgoings.

Interests-wise I've been into gaming since 1982 (the Mass Effect & Deus Ex series being 21st century favourites), music (particularly synth/electronic - a huge fan of Depeche Mode), also vintage films going way back to the 1930's. Also anything cult tv and sc-fi (20th century Doctor Who, Babylon 5, Blade Runner and Star Wars in particular). Also like walking and live concert-going.

My fun fact is the same as yours, Martin. Taught myself to juggle back in my 20's. Only three balls and a couple of tricks though!

                          Hi, I'm Penny 😉
Lebara is the network for me as it gives me ample credit for a fair price. I use hand-me-down handsets and, like Proteus, much prefer to use a full-size keyboard and monitor for online interactions. I've never understood how such small devices with such error-prine input became so ubiquitous 😏.
I'm happiest when cycling, preferably a full day in the Yorkshire Dales.

Further to my introduction, I find the Lebara road (i.e. sim only) perfect for myself and my other half. Together we have had over 30 years of Vodafone experience Lebara for us is a much better idea I have an iPhone 17 just bought it, and my wife has iPhone 12 Mini.

Hi, I am John from Cape Town, South Africa.
I, or shall I say "we" (my wife and I), have been using Lebara now for two and a half years. We live in Cape Town and have a son who lives in London and a daughter who lives in Portugal. We spend at least three months every year across the two locations. Lebara has been fantastic for us with the brilliant roaming feature while we are in Portugal, and the price is unbeatable.
Hobbies include travel, sport, reading, wine collecting and walking.
My challenge is to keep our numbers from expiring while our lines are inactive for the period we are back home in Cape Town. I have an iPhone 15 and my wife has an iPhone 12 mini.
                              Cheers.

Don't worry davidrconnell with 40 years of mobile experience you'll fit right in here! How are you finding the iPhone 17?

Thanks for the intro Sarath! It's great to have you on board. Im really happy to hear that you're having a good experience as a Lebara customer.

I'm the same SteveUK, I only tend to replace my phone when it starts to breakdown although last time I nearly lost all of my data as I could barely keep my old handset charged. I'll be a bit earlier on the upgrade next time!

Welcome zeep2k! I love cooking myself, I'll get a recipe/cooking thread started in Off Topic soon, it would be great if you could share some of your batch recipes there.
