Poll: How often do you upgrade your phone?

Martin Still using the Samsung G10 my daughter let me "borrow" 5 years ago but feel it is about time it was "upgraded".
Being now an "old-fart" I've just started getting my pension and would love to find a company that would do a deal with me that would let me pay £50 a month until the phone is paid for - they even hold onto the phone until it is paid if needs-be but, alas, everyone wants credit deals which I don't so, alas, it needs to keep going for a while longer

For me the only reason to upgrade is when the phone doesn't get security updates any more, or there's a major camera improvement. With Samsung offering at least 6 years of updates I'm in no hurry. My phone looks as good as new, and still does everything I want. Why waste money changing all the time?

Martin To be honest my battery is the first thing to die on my phones, and gone are the day where you can unclip the back of the case and just replace it!

I generally upgrade my phone every 5 years, I have just updated my iPhone 12Pro back in February this year to iPhone 17 ProMax and its amazing and got a good deal direct from Apple the trade in, so very happy.
