eSIM for existing customers

When are we launching esim for existing customers? Long pending.

I do not believe that the eSIM is even available for the iPhone 17 Air users, although Lebara makes us believe that it is. This is because Lebara does not yet sell this model of iPhone.
Lebara is way behind the curve in adopting eSIM and this is not acceptable.

Hi L1verp00lfan, thanks for your post about eSIM's! I can confirm that eSIM's are currently available for the iPhone Air for customers who have purchased a plan from Lebara. More information here.

When there is news about eSIM availability we'll be updating community members on our Welcome! What's New board so I would suggest keeping an eye out there. You can also subscribe to the board so you'll get an email notification when new topics go live.

Martin The eSIM was initially supposed to be available by the end of 2024. Then by Q3 2025. We are well past these dates. Hence the frustration!!

We also need the option to use the same phone line as eSim for my SmartWatch that is LTE compatible. Other providers have the option, please check when this will be available. Thanks

Hey L1verp00lfan I'm just wanting on an update, I'll let you know as soon as I hear back.

I'm so happy with Lebara coverage and services provided but truly lack of eSIM solution is not good. It should be available in the app for easy access and straight forward mounting and dismounting the eSIM number.

Have to agree, almost all other providers have esim capabilities. The sooner Lebara rolls this out to all, will make this provider more appealing to others looking to move.

Martin Another week has disappeared and still no update. This is so incredibly frustrating. I think 2025 will disappear with no resolution and Lebara will start losing potential new customers who want this capability of eSIM.

Just spoke to the Lebara CS team. eSIM is now available to existing customers as well. Call or chat with them, and they will sort it out for you.
Finally (phew).

Just spoke to customer services and they sent all the necessary information to change over to esim, mine is scheduled for tomorrow. Here's hoping all goes well
