Northern Cyprus Roaming

I'm going to Northern Cyprus in a couple of days and was looking at what roaming charges applied there.
I went via the chat on the app and received this response.
Northern Cyprus is not
considered part of Turkey for
roaming purposes. It is
included in the Roam Like
Home destinations, allowing
you to use your minutes,
texts, and data as you would
in the UK, up to 30GB of data
on the unlimited plan. If you
need additional data while in
Northern Cyprus, you can
purchase roaming bundles
specifically for Cyprus .
This was confirmed with another chat.
I wasn't sure that this situation was correct so I called customer services and spoke to someone who didn't actually seem to know what the situation there was but ended up saying we needed to purchase an add on,which I'm fine with,but was in complete contradiction to what I had previously been told and if I had taken the original advise I would have racked up a very large bill ..
I spoke to another advisor on chat who said it must have been a glitch from the bot. My question was quite specific as was the reply.
I think this is very poor service and needs to be addressed immediately to save anyone else getting caught out with this wrong advice.

Market Looking at the roaming rates finder Cyprus should be included in the Roam like Home destinations and there is no distinction with the north and south however I'll double check this one with the roaming team to confirm.

Had conflicting information. I've chatted to customer services and they have said that Northern Cyprus isn't in the EU where as Southern Cyprus is and therefore it's isn't included in roam like home. I've suggested that this should be made clear and adjusted in the system as if I'd have taken the original advise and used my phone as usual I would have had a considerable bill on my return home.

Northern cyprus would be classified as Turkey i think.
Also you wouldn't have a bill as lebara doesn't offer credit unless you turn on auto top up.
You cant spend outside your monthly allowance without topping up credit or turning on auto top up.

Market, Superuser25 I've had an update on this and Northern Cyprus is not part of the EU and as such is not covered under Roam like Home. I've passed on your feedback on to the team.

Should I select Turkey as a roaming add on for Northern Cyprus?

Im using roaming in North Cyprus under Turkey. I'd like to know how to do it long term, as Im planning to stay for a while.

I also have this question re whether Northern Cyprus is covered by Roaming Like Home or I need a Turkey roaming add on or even if that will work.
a google search indicated that it depends on the provider. Some treat N Cyprus as part of Cyprus for EU Roaming, some don’t and treat it as part of Turkey and some others do neither!
There doesn’t appear to be anything on the Lebara site about it although an earlier post on this thread suggests that it is treated as part of Turkey although Lebara seem to have given conflicting information.
Has anyone with a Lebara plan actually been to N Cyprus and, if so, how did Lebara treat it?
If I can’t get a clear answer, I am wondering whether it would be safer, for the duration of my trip, to get a separate eSIM from a provider which I know will cover N Cyprus specifically

Just by way of update, I have spoken to customer service through the chat function. They initially said that Northern Cyprus fell within Cyprus for EU roaming. When I queried this, they said that I would need a Turkey add on.
Prior to that, I had looked at Lebara Travel (a separate company linked to Lebara who sell travel e-sims). They said that they did not offer an e-sim which specifically covers Northern Cyprus and that they could not guarantee that a Turkey or Cyprus esim would cover Northern Cyprus.
Must confess that I don’t know what to believe but currently thinking of buying a separate travel eSIM from another provider which specifically covers Northern Cyprus just to be on the safe side

A lot of travellers use EsimDB if phone supports esim.
