esim what a load of malarkey

Just changed to esim, one email says up to 4 hours to changeover. Phone reported no physical sim so removed it, but noticed I've got a new number! . So rang support told to re insert physical sim, after recovery from bin. Now to wait til midnight for my original port to esim. If I'd known that before getting an esim I wouldn't have got one. So I can't cancel esim , technicall problem to do. So going to get PAC and move back a physical sim. Not happy!

An hour later rang back and got a very helpful agent who sorted the changeover from midnight to within the next 2 hours.
