I would not recommend Lebara to a friend unless they wanted to save money and were not bothered with mostly terrible performance. I live in a city centre and I rarely get close to a download speed of 1mbps, mostly it sits around 256kbps, and I am only ever connected to 4G when I check. The ONLY reason I am still with Lebara is because of the cost...

I was fed up with poor reception and ever increasing subscriptions, then I heard about Lebara and decided to give them a try. I’m so pleased I did, a great price, brilliant reception and I don’t have to pay any extra when travelling in Europe. What’s not to love?

They have a great app that’s clear and concise updated quickly giving you up to date usage on your phone. Best phone sim provider I’ve ever used. Happy to recommend to anyone looking for a good, cheap sim provider with great personal customer service support.

The Captcha during login is tedious, on occasions I had to re-do it more than five times. I don't know anyone who wants to login to my account as much to justify this level of repeated checks that I'm not a robot. When internet is slow, you cannot even login to your account, and this has also happened.
Roaming, which is Lebara's "great" selling point was simply disappointing and below standard. When I run out of data whilst abroad, I tried to buy another bundle, only to be blocked as my "other" bundle was still in use (despite having no data left, and the call minutes being effectively not needed). I was told the only option would be to pay £93 per GB, which is clearly an unacceptable and unrealistic price. Not coming back.

Re-writing this, as when I clicked "post reply" the text vanished and the reply was not posted...
Captcha during login is tedious, more than five separate sessions to convince Lebara website I'm not a robot. I don't think anyone wants to login to my account as much. When the internet connection was on the weak side of things, it kept crashing to the point I just couldn't login (unlike other websites).
Re the great advertising point of Lebara, Roaming; simply disappointing and below standard. I bought a bundle, and when I run out of data whilst abroad, I was blocked from buying another bundle or adding data. I was told my bundle was still active (I had minutes left but no one to call there) and the only option was to pay £93 per GB, which is both unrealistic and unacceptable.
No coming back to Lebara.
